This is not how I thought it would be

Oh. my. goodness.

Well, my friends, I am in the throes of an ebook launch and if I thought I was learning a lot before, now I think I must be on my way to becoming Einstein of Ebooks, not because I'm so smart, but because the learning curve is steep!

Lesson #1: I am completely and totally naive, although that's changing REAL quick.

Lesson #2: Expect the unexpected.

Lesson #3: Get take out.

As soon as I catch my breath, I will share some of the things I've learned. I hope it will be a great case study.

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your support and encouragement of Tell Your Time.

The more I think about your book, the more it brings me new ideas. I am continually impressed.

  2. Although it stinks that you're struggling through this, I'm glad I get to learn from you! ;-)

Seriously, I'm halfway through the book, and it is already helping me manage my time better and be more focused on what I REALLY want. Can't wait to finish!

But first, date with hubby – no computer, tonight. ;-o

  3. I paid full price this morning. I was unaware of a discount code. :(

  4. Well, I hope that you will manage your time enough to help us all avoid e-book pitfalls. lol I'm in the midst of writing my first and would dearly love to learn from you!

  5. And I should add that I'm sorry to hear this process has been exhausting for you!

  6. I just have to tell you how much this website has helped me over the past 2 days. I just found you the other day through Money saving Mom. I'm converting my little ole' blog from blogger to wordpress. I thought it was going to be easier. Turns out, not so much.

I had actually already selected Atahualpa as my theme before I found your site and had no idea where to start. But then I found your video tutorials. Now I only wish there was more of them! It's all starting to make sense now. But I just want to tell you THaNK YOU! I was about ready to give up and splurge on an expensive theme until I found your site. I don't want to get ahead of myself and spend money I haven't made yet.

You are such an inspiration because you have really made a name for yourself through hard work and determination. I'm hoping someday to replace my day job with earnings from my blog.

Thanks Again! I'll be checking back often.
    Emily :)

  7. I have no e-book aspirations, but this is so exciting! It's like I'm reading breathlessness. Looking forward to reading a detailed account of this…. adventure?

  8. We have 35 e-books now and yes, it's a lot of work. I had a lady yesterday who wanted to start a website say to me "well, why do you have to spend 60-70 hours a week working on your website? What is there to do?" She had no clue!!!

  9. Wow Amy. I had no idea there would be so much involved. Thanks for taking notes to share with us :) Looking forward to reading those.

I devoured your e-book. It goes right to the heart if things. Loved it!
