We've talked about signatures in Gmail recently — first using add-ons and then using Gmail's rich-text feature.
Since those posts, I've gotten some questions and have noticed a few things about using the rich-text feature:
1. Disable the add-ons
If you are switching from using the add-ons mentioned previously to the using Gmail's rich-text feature, make sure you first disable the add-ons.
Disable in Firefox by going to Tools (at the very top of your screen)–>Add-ons and click "Disable" next to Blank Canvas or WiseStamp.
Disable in Chrome by going to Window–>Extensions and "Disable."
2. Enable Gmail Labs Signature Tweaks
If you've set up a Gmail sig and it's putting your signature at the very bottom of your emails (like after the quoted text in a reply), enable the Signature Tweaks lab. This will move your signature up to right below your message.
To enable Signature Tweaks, in Gmail go to Settings–>Labs and then enable
Hope that helps!

Hi Amy
I don't have signature tweeks in my labs tab. I'm on a PC, is that why?
Hi Krisin,
No, it won't make a difference if you're on a PC or Mac. Did you scroll through the entire list of Labs? In my photo, it's number 2 on the list, but that's just because the Enabled labs get stuck at the top.
Found it! They were listed alphabetically. Guess my internal alphabet was wrong yesterday. Thanks Amy.
Hi,
I was battling to see the wysiwyg toolbar in the sig area. I then realised that I had to turn on rich text editing on the email body area and it will enable this option in the sig area. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Patrick!
