In keeping with the string of email management tips we've had recently, I thought I'd post yet another! This time, it's about keeping track of to-dos right in Gmail.
My email inevitably reminds me of, or alerts me to things I have to do. I love Gmail's task lists which allow you to create quick and easy to-do lists right from your inbox.
Update: In the new Gmail interface, find your Tasks lists in the dropdown menu here:

Loved hearing the kids in the background. My little ones can always be heard when I'm on the phone. Glad I'm not alone.
Amy – I'm new to Gmail and haven't loved it so much. (Don't like how it bundles messages, I don't see the new ones as easily – but I don't clear out my inbox like you do – you're who I want to be!) This helps me understand it better and will save me time. YEAH! Thanks so much!

Brilliant but I can't find 'tasks' on the left-hand menu. Any idea where it may be?
Right under the Gmail logo and just above the Compose button, you'll see "Mail" with a dropdown arrow next to it. Check there (it's the new interface).
Found it! That's you sending out positive waves!
