Well, if you have a Facebook “Like” page, you may have heard about the popular practice of setting up your own landing page. Here’s the 411:
What’s a Facebook landing page?
A landing page is a special page that new visitors (might be referred to as “not-yet-likers”) are sent to when they first visit your Facebook Like page.
Why do I want a Facebook landing page?
Because it gives you the opportunity to interact with potential “likers” and encourage them in a very friendly way to “like” your page before they are just tossed into the fray of your Wall.
Can you give me an example?
Why of course. Normally, at this point, I would show you my landing page, however, as is the case on most days here at BloggingWithAmy.com, I don’t practice what I preach; I’m too busy doing this stuff for others. 
As many of you know, I’m having a blast working with Crystal from Money Saving Mom. This week, we put a landing page up for her Facebook Like page. I say “we” because Joy from Five J’s Design made the graphic and isn’t it awesome?
How can I make my own?
Well, I thought about writing up an entire tutorial, but then this week, Problogger posted one and so why in the world would I not link to his, right? (You know, so I have more time to make my own instead of just write about it. ) Check his tutorial out here.

I would LOVE a nice fancy landing page for my Barefoot Books facebook page but I am clueless when it comes to HTML and therefore I cant seem to make anything look nice and pretty
I need to take some computer classes!
I also dont have a lot of extra cash to pay someone to do one up for me…grrr!
But I love the idea of having one…maybe one day ill figure it out! Thanks for the info!
